If you are looking to buy any shrubs, trees, fruit trees etc then try Pierre Emmanual Pougault of l'Ilot-Vert just outside the village of St Leger sous Beuvray.
His quality is excellent and he guarantees anything you buy. He grows everything himself and they therefore will do well in the surrounding area, particularly the difficult conditions in the Morvan (which means they will also certainly do well outside of the Morvan).
His nursery is on the road to Bibracte, on the right-hand side if coming from St Leger and of course the other way if coming from Bribacte. It is signposted.
He is at the nursery every Saturday.

We've lived just around the corner from L'Ilôt Vert since it opened and can fully recommend Pierre-Emmanuel's nursery not just for the quality of his plants but for the wide range of unusual species he has to offer. Its worth a trip just to wander around the pépinière which is attractively laid out around a small lake where you can admire his collection of rare wild fowl.

We can certainly recommend L'Ilot Vert for good service and information. Having just had six trees delivered and planted and pruned, he was most helpful, with advice on the best trees to have for our land and position.

Arriving on the date and at the exact time as we booked, was refreshing. He also planted an extra tree for us which we had purchased from another grower, no fuss, no charge. We shall return to him for further plants.

I'd like to recommend Jardinerie Fleur De Lis, a nurserie ran by a very friendly Dutch lady by the name of Nicky Wolkers.
She has a lovely range of Plants, trees, shrubs etc as well as a superb range of gift ideas.
To get to the nursery if coming from Luzy, head towards Nevers, you will see signpost for Savigny Poil Fol on your left, take this road and go straight through Savigny Poil Fol, at the cross roads, follow the sign for Ternant and the nursery is on the left hand side. there is a large car park.
