Had some friends over from the UK last week and took them to the Yorkshire Bar in La Nocle Maulaix. I tried Roll mops for the very first time and they were lovely, this was followed by duck in red wine sauce which was just perfect and then a home made chocolate mousse which was to die for! John cheated and had steak (which he really enjoyed!) and our friends went for the chicken stuffed with roquefort and wrapped in bacon.
Fantastic meal, fantastic price ( about €18.50 a head), so thoroughly recommend that you pay a visit.
The Yorkshire Bar is run by the lovely Joyce and her daughter Tanya, who really look after you.
