Chalon sur Saone is twinned with St Helens in the UK and a Brass Band from St Helens will be playing a series of concerts in Burgundy this summer at the end of July/beggining of August.

The Band is-Valley Brass Band from St Helens who were:
Champion Band of Great Britain 2005
North West Champions 2004
Pontins Champions 2004

The band is made up mainly of youngsters of a high talent level.

The concert schedule this year is as follows:-

8.30 pm Concert in Couches ( venue to be finalised)
Friday 1st August
11.00 am Lunchtime concert in Chalon-Place du Theatre
8.00 pm Evening Concert in the Cathedral Square
Saturday 2nd August
8.00 pm Evening concert at Franges ( sous le Halle)
Sunday 3rd Aug
5.00 pm Concert in Le Creusot Adventure Park
